Through the provision of an integrated shared electronic referral record, unique to evolutio and supported by a referral management service, significant improvements will be seen in clinical standardisation, activity, data and quality of care. In turn, this will release additional capacity for stretched hospital clinics, reduce patient anxiety as treated in a more convenient setting and result in financial savings through the provision of clinically appropriate pathways within a community setting at a lower tariff.
