Established in 1933, Tacoma Pump and Drilling offers quality commercial and residential well drilling services from a third generation, family owned and operated driller. Meeting commercial, residential water well and other various drilling needs, we strive to maintain a reputation of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.We presently employ seven Washington and five Oregon licensed drillers. All drillers have 40-hour and 8-hour OSHA certification and current First Aid, CPR cards. We are active in Residential, Commercial, Environmental and Geotechnical drilling. Average years of experience per driller is 20. Tacoma Pump & Drilling was the first drilling company in Washington State to own and operate a Dual Rotary drill rig. And we were fortunate enough to be the first private drilling contractor in the United States to drill in America's First National Park!We have drilled thousands of potable water wells in Washington State. From depths to 1500 ft, diameters of 6 to 24 inches. We have been active in the Environmental Drilling Industry since 1980. In 2006 and 2007 we drilled GPS foundation and strainmeter boreholes in Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. We have extensive experience in Soils Investigations, Monitoring Wells, Ground Water Extraction and Injection Wells for Geothermal Heating Systems, Dewatering, Geotechnical Borings, Cathodic Protection Wells, Conductor Casings for the petroleum industry, Installation of pilings for bridges and Elevator jack-shafts. Our Flooded Reverse method enables us to drill large diameters effectively, with excellent sample retention for Municipal Water wells.Tacoma Pump and Drilling is committed to Quality Workmanship, Honesty and Integrity in our business.
