Started during covid to help musicians out of work, with a background/higher education in music, years of experience as a working musician, or even just talented artists we see the potential in training. We have our own school location in Austin (the LIVE music capital of the world), and handle your scheduling, payment, marketing for staff, and any needed training. Entirely your choice where to teach: 🏠home visits at the family's request at their home or their instructor's. Home lessons pay more but comes with travel costs and/or providing any needed materials/instruments. 🖥 teach live online: We've mastered it to the point where many of our students actually prefer it for the discounted rates and it's advantages during Covid as their safest bet for music lessons and the ability to teach students all over the world through telecommunications/video chat software like zoom/Skype.💰⭐️We are committed to fair pay for our teachers, Which sadly according to research many other states pay more than school owners in austin, who pay far below what educators deserve. As a former teacher, with a music degree in vocal performance, I love what I did for a living but was capped at $23 an hour AND never paid for meetings which we're mandatory.. taking advantage of independent contractors like teachers in after school programs who have limited knowledge of their rights as contractors to: set their own schedule and availability, has the right to say yes or no to a perspective student given to them by their boss or administrators, teach using their own materials and lesson plans, and be paid for every job or work requirement given to them. Every single one of these was unknown to me, and my coworkers. Therefore we were illegally treated as employees and being paid as independent contractors — which made me want to commit to fair pay initiatives for my talented group of educators.🏆 We offer Scholarships & Financial Aid 🏆
