Year Up Arizona is a 501(c)3 nonprofit launched in 2015 in Downtown Phoenix serving Opportunity Youth (ages 18-24) to close the Opportunity Divide through a one-year intensive professional development program. We offer educational tracks in Business Operations, Computer Programming, Cyber Security, and IT Help Desk. In partnership with GateWay Community College and leading companies in the Phoenix area, our students spend 6 months learning hard and soft skills required to succeed in the workforce. Following the first 6 months, they spending the last 6 months of the program interning with our corporate partners including American Express, Bank of America, Arizona Federal Credit Union, and many others. Year Up Arizona graduates earn, on average, a starting salary of $35,000/year and 91% are employed and/or furthering their education after completion of our 1 year program.
