GG Restaurant was established in 2013 with a desire to showcase an impressive wine list and European style cuisine that had it's own Melbourne inspiration.Located opposite the Fitzroy Gardens, a stones throw away from the CBD and perfectly positioned within walking distance to major sporting stadiums / arenas. GG Restaurant hosts an array of functions from Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions, Group Dining – Lunch & Dinner, Networking Events, Cocktail Parties, Corporate Events & Conferencing along with of course our Main Restaurant and Wine Bar. Headed up by the talented Paul Dunlop, Paul's culinary journey began in Auckland, New Zealand before heading to London and beginning his love for Euro inspired cuisine. Returning to Melbourne Paul lead the kitchens of La Brasserie & Bistro Thierry.A stint in Lyon, France and the chance to work in famed Michelin starred establishments such as Pierre Orsi and Le Bec solidified his French credentials. Joining George Calombaris at The Press Club and St Katherines, Paul was introduced to more bold and playful flavours.In 2013 gg was established and has allowed him to combine his food memories forged by travel and experience with modern technique.
