Architectural Intern at McNicholas Architects | MGLM - Chicago, Illinois, United States
McNicholas Architects is a design and research firm creating bespoke architecture, interiors, and urban designs. We bring our research to bear on each project, having developed principles driven by science, which we apply to each project in order to create environments that foster beauty and facilitate health. We place great importance on teamwork and personal relationships with our clients, and are happy to call many of them friends. MA also places great importance on giving back. As such, we function as a social practice, regularly volunteering our design talents and time to philanthropic organizations that raise the standard of living for individuals and communities, alike. We practice architecture throughout the U.S. and abroad. McNicholas Architects has a main office in Chicago, and is certified with NCARB. Our principals are active members of the Congress for the New Urbanism and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and hold leadership positions for the Auditorium Theatre, Chicago-Midwest Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, and local high schools, and are active in many other organizations. They are certified LEED AP practitioners, hold Certificates in Neuroscience for Architecture and affiliate membership in the Society for Neuroscience, and have a particular passion for collaborating with the building trades.
