Roeder & Bell began as a weekly delivery service of freshly curated local food, supporting small businesses during COVID. Started by husband and wife team Emma Roeder and Cameron Hunter Bell, the idea was to spark creativity in the home chef, by introducing exciting new flavours, products and ideas. After a wonderful holiday in Südtirol, Emma and Cameron realised how much happiness comes from the discovery of new flavours and treats and it was then that Roeder & Bell was born, with the mission to introduce and celebrate bold global flavours. While the company has moved on from its weekly hamper service, the ethos still remains, with their latest offshoot ‘Smiddy BBQ' cooking up slow smoked craft Texas-style BBQ out of an old Edinburgh blacksmith's.
