Kellogg Tolaram Nigeria Limited (KTNL) is a Joint Venture between Kellogg Company USA and Tolaram Group of Singapore. KTNL was incorporate on 20th August 2015 to develop the cereal and snack business in Nigeria and other West African countries. KTNL started the import of Kellogg brand cereals and snacks from the UK and Belgium in Europe from 2016. In April 2016, the JV board approved the set up of cereal plant in Lagos Free Trade Zone. The plant is ready and the commercial production started on January 2018. Manufacturing in Nigeria with the help of locally available raw material will help in generating revenues for the local farmers and traders, become self-sufficient, boost the economy as well as generate employment for the local talent. It will also encourage foreign investments in the country. Along with the Cereals, KTNL launched an extruded snack product on July 2018 under the brand Munch IT.
