AIC was established in 1980 for the manufacturing of GRP Axial Flow Fans for:1) Cooling Towers. 2) Heat Exchangers. 3) Finn Coolers. 4) Evaporative Condensers. The Axial flow fans manufactured by AIC gives power saving of minimum 15 - 20% on replacement of the existing fans of Aluminum / FRP fans due to efficient aerofoil sections.In due course of time AIC took the challenge of manufacturing Composite Heli deck Panels for Oil drilling Platform for the landing of Helicopters. On successful completion of the Helideck Panels, AIC was awarded a certificate which stated that ‘Such Type of Helipad has not been built anywhere in the World'.AIC later diversified its activities by venturing into the manufacturing of Dough Moulding Compounds, Sheet Moulding Compounds, Polyester Putties, and other generalized GRP Composite products. Using various manufacturing processes which are: 1) Compression Molding 2) Contact Molding 3) Filament Winding4) Pressure Bag Molding 5) Pultrusion 6) Vacuum MoldingAIC has its own state of the Art plant for the manufacturing of DMC / BMC/ SMC with a fully equipped laboratory as per International standards for the testing of materials. AIC also manufactures special purpose insulations required by the electrical industry.To keep us abreast with the latest technological advances in the world, we have technical collaboration with M/s Spaay of Germany and association with various technical institutes like IIT, IISC etc. In the field of mechanical fabrication, AIC specializes in manufacture of articulated piping system used for loading & unloading of chemicals, petrochemicals, liquid ammonia, oleum etc., propeller shafts for cooling towers, Mechanical Gratings both in SS-304 and Hot Dip Galvanize GratingsOur Managing Director is a Mechanical Engineer having a total experience of 30 years in the field of composites.
