Uptown Montessori School is a school based in York Region. Our goal is to help young kids develop into leaders of the future. We are located in Woodbridge, Ontario. We embrace the principles of the Montessori Method of education, which concentrates on the child's experience, and is characterized by a focus on self-directed activity. Areas of activity include Practical Life; The Sensorial; Language Arts; Mathematics; and Cultural Activities. Through the application of Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, we prepare students for a bright future through teaching to a broader range of talents and skills.We are dedicated to provide working parents with reliable and supportive child care, in a custom-built environment created with a team of professionals who are fluent in the design of highly acclaimed physical spaces for younger age groups. From the moment you enter our building, it is apparent that this is a place that welcomes children and their families.The philosophy of our school centers on the individual within the community.
