Beginning operations on February 1, 1997, the company was primarily formed by the combination of four large physician groups (Johns Hopkins Imaging, LLC; Diagnostic Radiology Associates, P.A.; Schultze, Snider & Associates, P.A.; and Calvert Radiology Associates). ARA is a Maryland professional association that provides a wide range of diagnostic services at the ARS fixed sites and at numerous Maryland hospitals.
