As of 1934 the first taxis of Taxi Goverde are driving around. For decades the cab department was quite a small part of the family company Goverde-Kouters. Besides cabs, there were also several coaches. Nowadays the family company is split into 3 companies: * A coach company, Brabant Expres * A travel agency, Pelikaan Reizen * A taxi company, Taxi Goverde As of 1994 Jan and Harry Goverde are in charge of the taxi company and ever since the taxi company has grown into a large, professional business.
