The community is 9 minutes away from all the cultural amenities of Downtown Los Angeles, and the culinary delights of Little Tokyo and China Town.Hollenbeck was the home of John and Elisabeth Hollenbeck who gifted their estate to cerate Hollenbeck Home in 1890. In 1926 Hollenbeck became the first ever licensed nursing home in California.
