Program Director at Susquehanna Valley CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates - Sunbury, PA, US
Nearly 700,000 children experience abuse or neglect each year. Instead of playing with neighbors and making happy family memories, they're attending court hearings, adjusting to new foster homes and transitioning to new schools. That's a heavy burden for a child to carry. With a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) or guardian ad litem (GAL) volunteer dedicated to their case, America's most vulnerable children have someone by their side, speaking up for their best interests. Susquehanna Valley CASA - Voices for Children serves abused and neglected children in Lycoming, Union, Snyder and Northumberland Counties. Highly trained volunteers are making a difference for these children. Be one of us! Learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer or supporting our work.
