Farmasina is a medical supplier based in Istanbul and was established in June 2006 by three individuals with backgrounds in biochemistry, microbiology and electronic engineering, respectively. Farmasina's core business in Medical Diagnostics is based on three areas of focus: 1) POCT: We import our Point Of Care Test (POCT) from Europe and China, however, we are in negotiations with a US supplier and if the outcome is positive, we will begin importing POCTs from this company. We currently have a 20% share of this market. 2) Routine Diagnostics: With regards to Routine Diagnostics, we specialize in Haemostasis (Coagulation)and routine Microbiology products 3) Research: Our efforts in the research arena are focused on EIA. We represent several US and European companies in Turkey. Our marketing strategy for research kits is to work very closely with the scientists and researchers. Farmasina produce their own coagulation analyzer since 2010. Farmasina have 2 sister company focused on R&D. One of them is working on laboratory instruments and one of them is working on some special diagnostics kits for PCR system
