Boarding School for Troubled Boys When boys get off track and people become afraid of them, they especially need discipline and order. Most of all, boys need a personal relationship with the Savior who loves them. He is the One who can save them from themselves. Gateway is a character-building boarding school offering positive discipline and life-change in troubled boys, administered by caring and helpful mentors and peers who encourage them to success. Our purpose is to help self-destructing and angry teenage boys do a turnaround and begin looking at life differently. They are given a new purpose, a new drive, and a new passion to be a better person and to serve others.When a boy steps onto the ranch, his world changes. He learns to cooperate, work as part of a team and eventually to become a leader. By the end of their time here, boys known for their selfishness are so changed, they compete for the privilege of serving others on mission trips including third world countries. These all combine to turn troubled boys into respectful and caring young men.Before and after pictures are a highlight of our graduation ceremonies. You can see the difference in the boys' faces.
