New Partners Community Solar is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to clean energy and environmental justice. We installed: -- The first Community Solar project in Washington, DC -- The first Low-Income Community Solar project in Washington, DC -- The first Solar+Green Roof on a Downtown Washington, DC office building -- The first Solar+Battery Resiliency Hub for vulnerable District residentsWe have offset over 450 tons of greenhouse gases and provided 1 million kWh of clean energy to the District. All of our solar energy credits are distributed to low-income households in affordable housing in Washington, DC, benefitting over 100 households. Our continued projects look to partner committed companies, building owners, housing managers, government entities, fellow nonprofits, and utilities in order to protect the most vulnerable citizens in the district, mitigate carbon emissions, and benefit the community as a whole.Please visit www.npsolar.org to learn more and to make a charitable donation.
