Walsh appealed to the Charity Guild of Catholic Women to establish a free clinic to serve the health needs of the poor. \\From humble beginnings, San José Clinic has grown into a health home for thousands of Houstonians in need. Ninety-five years later, we proudly uphold the legacy of our founders by continuing to provide healthcare for those who need it most.\\We are a 501(c)(3), a United Way agency, a Texas Medical Center institution, and a ministry of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.\
