CLITH is an acronym for Changing Lives Through Health. CLITH is a team of dedicated and selfless health professionals, established in October 2015 and incorporated under the Ghana companies act, 1963 (Act 179) in January 2016. We promote of health and extend valuable health services to groups and target communities. CLITH was founded by Dr. Stephen Akiti, a medical officer, Eugene Tornyeavah, a nurse andpsychologist, and Anthony Olubunmi Dogbey, a social researcher. We currently work with over 200 diverse health professionals across Ghana and West AfricaAchievements CLITH has screened and shaped the health of over a hundred and fifty thousand (150,000) people (directly)across rural Ghana as at 31stDecember, 2020. We have worked in 4 regions of Ghana and 2 countries over the past 5 years. CLITH has crowd sourced up to 200 health volunteersincluding Medical Doctors, Psychologists, Physicians,Nurses, Pharmacists, Psychiatrists, Laboratory Technicians, Social workers etc across 6 regions in Ghana. We launched our first Schools' Health Club project in the Volta region Ref; CLITH PROPOSAL Page 6 We have done an average of 2 screenings per month since 2016. CLITH has partnered and worked with more than 30corporate institutions and religious bodies over the past years including Star Oil Ghana, Access Bank PLC,MODEC/Tullow Oil Ghana etcWe are looking for fundraising support for our services in rural Africa.
