Egis Ukraina was established in 1996 by a key engineering group in France to provide institutional support to the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine, the State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) as well as other executive bodies in Ukraine. After 25 years of operations in the country Egis has now in Ukraine more than 100 employees working on a full-time and part-time schedules. Its central office is located in Kyiv and project offices are hosted in Poltava, Mariupol, Kharkiv, Ternopil and Lviv.
