(ACM), supplier of composite products and subassemblies to the global aerospace industry, is a strategic alliance between U.S. joint venture partners The Boeing Company and Hexcel Corporation. Established in 1996, the joint venture is based in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah, Malaysia. The USD $32 million ACM plant was officially opened by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad in September 2002. manufactures and is "sole" supplier for primary and secondary structure composite bond assemblies and sub-assemblies for Boeing commercial aircraft such as aileron skins, spoilers and spars, flat panels, leading edges, trailing edges and various miscellaneous components.
