Professor of Global and International Studies at University of Salamanca, Master's Program in Global Studies - Salamanca, Castilla y León, Spain
The University of Salamanca is a Spanish higher education institution, located in the city of Salamanca, and founded in 1134. It is the world's third (second?) oldest university still in operation, and the oldest university in the Hispanic world. Presently, Salamanca draws students from all over the world. It is also known for its Spanish courses for non-native speakers, which attract more than two thousand foreign students each year. It is an important center for the study of humanities and is particularly noted for its language studies, as well as in laws and economics. It was declared a heritage of humanity by UNESCO in 1988.
