It was established as a joint venture between Ali Group of Pakistan and Akerlund & Rausing of Sweden. Packages Limited is renowned for providing premium packaging solutions for paper and board material throughout Pakistan.In 2005, Packages Limited invested in a Green Field Project in Kasur. This new green field was named after one of the most famous Punjabi Sufi poet of the subcontinent hailing from Kasur - Bulleh Shah (1680-1757). Bulleh Shah was also a humanist and philosopher of his time and even today, he is revered equally by people on both sides of the Indo-Pak border.
