The Georgia Health Care Association and Georgia Center for Assisted Living (GHCA/GCAL) has represented long term care providers in the state for over sixty years and currently serves skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities, and SOURCE agencies. Through quality advancement initiatives, lobbying efforts, informative educational seminars and operational support, GHCA/GCAL continues to strive to meet our members' needs and the best interests of the long term care profession.GHCA/GCAL is proud to also represent a growing base of companies that share a genuine interest with GHCA/GCAL in furthering the quality of long term and post-acute care and the success of the profession. GHCA/GCAL Associate Members support programs and services that bring improvements to long term care and help to create strategies to address a variety of issues affecting the profession including revised policies and regulations, staffing shortages, Medicare and Medicaid funding, tort reform and quality advancement.GHCA/GCAL is committed to continuously improve the quality of life of all persons requiring post-acute care and long term health care. To achieve these goals, GHCA/GCAL provides education, conventions and networking events throughout the year to give our members the tools they need to succeed. Our members exceed national averages for overall ratings on yearly performance measurement and benchmarking satisfaction surveys and continue to cultivate leaders within their centers who demonstrate deep dedication to quality and clinical excellence.
