Longford County Council is responsible for Economic and Community Development, Library and Heritage Services, Tourism Services, Sports Partnership, and the Public Participation Network. Our services also include housing, planning, motoring and road services, water services, fire services and civil defence. We work with many different stakeholders in carrying out our functions, such as members of the local community and local community groups, National Government and national bodies such as Enterprise Ireland.
