Simlog's story began in 1994 at CRIM (https://www.crim.ca), one of Canada's leading research institutes in information technologies. The challenge: develop new-to-the-world simulation technology to help train people to operate mechanized logging equipment,. Since then, Simlog has pioneered a new kind of "mass market" product called "Personal Simulator" that leverages the power of today's off-the-shelf Personal Computers (PCs), USB-ready input devices, and off-the-shelf displays and speakers and today, we have products for 16 different kinds of heavy equipment in forestry, mining, construction, and material handling,
