Florence MacWilliams Academy will be a state funded secondary school backed by the newly formed Educo Trust. The school is proposed to open in the south of Stoke-on-Trent, on what was the former Edensor High School site.The Educo Trust comprises of highly experienced educational professionals with extensive expertise on the Board of Ofsted, and national school improvement programmes that have been refined in some of the strongest, most effective and successful system sponsors nationally.We intend to submit our application to the Department for Education on November 10th 2019, and if successful, the opening date is likely to be 2023.
