Endapt International works to reduce earthquake risk internationally through collaboration with local governments on risk identification and reduction. Endapt has over 17 years of experience in seismic retrofitting, earthquake engineering and disaster recovery in both the developing and developed world. Currently, Endapt is working with the World Bank in Afghanistan and UNICEF and the Government of Japan in Kyrgyzstan by providing technical expertise on retrofitting existing schools to be earthquake resilient while utilizing locally available materials and labor abilities. Endapt International was founded by Forrest Lanning in 2018 to continue the mission on reducing earthquake risk and assist communities to build back better. Endapt is based in San Francisco, California with project locations in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
