Independence Bank was founded in 1972 by a group of Havre Business owners who saw a need for a locally owned community bank. The Bank officially opened in March of 1973. Since that time we have acquired branches in Poplar, Scobey, Malta, Glasgow, Conrad and our most recent Loan Production office in Great Falls. Our "hometown" banking philosophy and local decision making separates us from our competitors. We specialize in Ag and Commercial lending, but we offer a complete range of banking services. We have invested in the newest technology to make sure that we can offer our customers the kinds of services they expect including Online Banking, eStatements and our newest service, Mobile Banking.
