3 Stones TV is Kenya's first Kikuyu-language digital channel broadcasting on the Digital Smart Tv sets, free-to-air the KBC Signet Digital Platform , Startimes decoders, Zuku platform, and on GO TV subscriptionchannel.The station was officially launched on 2nd November, 2012 with a full line-up of locally-produced programmes. The programmes are broadcast in the Gikuyu language, and in English and Kiswahili.The channel is targeted at the Kikuyu-speaking population based in the Mt. Kenya region, i.e. Nairiobi, Kiambu, Muranga, Nyeri, Kirinyaga counties,Nakuru County and other parts of the country.The digital format will enable the channel to broadcast content on other platforms including the Internet and mobile handsets before end of second quarter 2013.3 Stones TV connects with the viewer; the channel shares his heritage and speaks his language, it identifies with his hopes and aspirations and shares his dreams
