FREIGHT FORWARDERS KENYA LTD (FFK) was incorporated in 1973 following the amalgamation of three prominent and well established Clearing and Forwarding Agents namely Kenya General Agency Ltd (established 1932), Reynolds and Co Ltd (established 1962) and Wafco Ltd. This sound foundation, allied with the innovation and vision of its management, has culminated in FFK emerging as one of the leading Forwarders in the East African Region. The Port of Mombasa has through the centuries earned a reputation as the "gateway" to East Africa. Regional Imports include industrial machinery, fertilizer, paper products, bulk grain, sugar, salt and various consumer items, while Exports consist mainly of coffee, tea, cement and soda ash. The company's Head Offices are situated in close proximity to the Port of Mombasa which enables it to provide cost-effective and reliable services to Regional Importers / Exporters and International Humanitarian Organisations. FFK is a member of the Kenya International Clearing, Forwarding and Warehousing Association and was a founder member of the Association's predecessor, the Kenya Clearing, Forwarding and Warehousing Association.
