The Washed Ashore Traveling Educational Art Exhibit for Zoos, Aquariums, Botanical Gardens, Science Centers & Museums uses gigantic sea life sculptures made entirely of marine debris collected from beaches to graphically illustrate and educate the public about the tragedy of plastics pollution in our ocean and waterways. Thousands of volunteers work together with the guidance of artist and veteran teacher Angela Haseltine Pozzi to create powerful art pieces which are combined with educational signage to teach children and adults how to help save our seas. Additional curriculum, workshops and educational programs are also available. Washed Ashore is a 501(c)(3) organization.
