Cardiovascular and Thoracic Solutions, LLC was born out of the realization that solutions are not only needed in our specialty but remain elusive for many surgeons and programs. Our aim is to provide durable solutions for both surgeons and hospital programs.From the standpoint of the surgeon, many have found the employed model less than satisfying yet do not perceive a ready alternative that will be rewarding clinically. Many strive for the ability to control their circumstances, their time out of the hospital and to have a meaningful voice in the direction of their program. We offer surgeons the opportunity to step outside of the employed model without a reduction in income and to have their skills help to solve the problems programs may be facing.From the standpoint of the program, we offer our years of experience to help address whatever problems they may be facing. We can serve as an impartial third person in addressing hospital problems, offer creative ideas to further their clinical goals and provide the support needed to meet the clinical goals. What is also clear is that the practice of cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery is rapidly changing and that those who are able to adapt to new circumstances will be the ones that emerge in a stronger position. Our experience and service will help both surgeons and programs adapt to the changes and provide the best care for their patients now and into the future.
