Photothermal IR spectroscopy enables non-contact, reflective sub-micron IR spectroscopy of materials for a range of applications, including life sciences, pharmaceutical research and polymers.Photothermal Spectroscopy Corp is founded upon a decade of photothermal IR spectroscopy physics development from Anasys Instruments and its collaborators. After the successful introduction of AFM-based nanoscale IR spectroscopy, nanoIR, the research continued, and in 2017, Photothermal IR Spectroscopy (PTIR) was introduced on the Mirage IR Microscope. These achievements were noticed by leaders in the IR spectroscopy industry, resulting in the purchase of Anasys Instruments by Bruker Corporation in 2018. Consequently, Photothermal Spectroscopy Corp was founded in order to bring PTIR Spectroscopy to the manufacturing labs, benches, and research facilities of scientists around the world.
