As a custom job shop, we never had a product of our own. We appreciated the opportunity to work collaboratively in the design and function of the machined parts in your final products. We valued being supply chain partners.Conversely Dow built a network of partners who helped us to meet our need for rapid turn of the highest quality products. We thank everyone for your part in making this so special!Dow was a supplier of precision metal products. The global headquarters were in St. Louis, Missouri This plant's focus was machined parts producing job sizes as small as one piece as well as production runs over one million pieces. The continued investment in equipment in this facility allowed the company to have rapid response to customers who are releasing parts with a multiple of styles including Kan-ban, one day pulls and pulls based only on only forecast information.. This was an ISO 9001 operation with a focus on continuous improvement.Dow also had a unique market position with expertise & ownership in CHINA. The focus was providing low cost country options on many types of metal products. Working with an established US manufacturer whose procedures and policies are enforced in their foreign plant relieves many of the headaches associated with trying to identify and find a global source on your own. Dow backed up any possible supply chain disruption with tooling and inventory in St. Louis for small quantity, quick turn releases.
