MemCrypt Limited is the latest spinout from Edinburgh Napier University and the cryptographic research group led by Professor Bill Buchanan who is supporting us as our Chief Scientist.We are building new tools to identify Ransomware attacks as they happen in memory so encrypted material can quickly and easily be recovered while providing real time alerts to the user and the cyber security incident response team.We are also using the captured Ransomware data to create an autonomous and encrypted feed of live ransomware attack information to better inform the insurance sector, corporations, law enforcement and government agencies of the details of the attack while at the same time preserving the ransomware victim's privacy.
