BEST is a constantly growing non profit, non political student organisation, represented in 33 countries and 96 Technical Universities which are creating a powerful and innovative students network. The main goal of the organisation is to facilitate the contact between students, companies and universities. Through its main activities, that are focused on offering complementary education, educational involvement and career support, BEST creates opportunities for personal development of students and supports them in reaching their full potential.\\Local BEST Group Istanbul in Istanbul Technical University, which is known as Uluslararası Mühendislik Kulübü(UMK) became a part of BEST in 2003 and has organised many productive, innovative and academic events in various fields.
