Miami Diaper Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports low-income and homeless families with diaper need throughout South Florida. Since government assistance programs such as food stamps and WIC do not cover diapers, many families struggle every day to provide their children with enough clean diapers to keep them dry, happy and healthy. Miami Diaper Bank steps in to fill the "diaper gap" in our community by distributing free diapers and baby essentials to other local nonprofits, community organizations and shelters who serve families in need. Since we were founded in 2013 (by a middle school student) we continue to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged babies and struggling families thanks to the help of generous donors and over 30 amazing community partners throughout South Florida, including Chapman Partnership, The Lotus House and Ronald McDonald House.
