Frostbite is based in Manchester and serves Manchester & the wider North West area. The company supplies mobile refrigeration units, these units are either based on a trailer platform of free standing cold rooms. Also called walk in cold room or emergency fridge freezers, event fridge etc. Typically referred to as ‘Fridge Trailers' these trailers can be used for many different items including food, drink, medical & product testing. Fridge trailers are available for both business hire and private hire. A tyA business such as a stoe, supermarket, butcher may typically rent a mobile fridge freezer trailer if they have either, a breakdown of their on-site fridge or if they have seasonal stock & the on-site refrigerator hasn't the capacity for the extra stock. We have some great clients including Asda, Hilton Hotel Group Hondas Racing Team (based at Oulton Park) KFC, McDonalds to name a few. Private use is typically for outdoor events such as weddings, garden parties, festivals, shows and they provide a great way of providing on-site catering or drink chilling. Fridge trailers have also been used for sub-zero product testing, as an example newly developed PVC gas piping that has to withstand below zero temperatures. We have also provided fridge trailers for machine testing such as cement mixers for use in Iceland. All trailers work on standard single phase 240v mains and can be delivered and sited where required.
