The challenge of sustainability to human ingenuity is in acquiring the wisdom, knowledge, and skills to heal the hitherto human inflicted Nature's wounds while ‘chasing a better life'. This defines the most plausible path forward as - ‘to gradually move towards living under the Nature'. Organo is an organisation that continuously strives at achieving that. The path we chose is to develop all-inclusive sustainable environment friendly communities which will set a growth paradigm in India that promote counter urbanization. Hence our first step towards it, which in Sanskrit translates into Naandi. Our project is aimed at being a new beginning in the path of a small change. We are starting out by building sustainable collective farming net-zero communities in the suburbs of the city that sets a benchmark standard for closed loop sustainable communities. A community that would enliven the culture of farming and collective living while relying on off grid energy resources. We have categorized our goals into three different realms - 1. Goal of setting up our communities aligned to our design ethos a) To design and create a producer culture community that is based on self reliant closed loop systems to meet its requirements. b) To design a community at net-zero in terms of its energy usage. c) To achieve sustainability in all the three realms of running a community 1. People, 2. Profits and 3. Planet. Triple bottom line sustainability. 2. Connecting with the societies/communities around our projects Inspiring the surrounding communities to follow by active training and sharing of knowledge through our projects 3. On the third level we aim at creating a tipping point of change in the surrounding areas that will eventually set standards of conservation and enrichment of our natural resources in way that it resonates in the master plan of the city.
