Eley Metrology is the oldest privately British owned company designing and manufacturing metrology products. With a unique history and over 40 years of industry experience, we have supplied our products to businesses covering both ends of the spectrum. As well and manufacturing traditional Metrology Granite Standards, we also designed the Vertex Digital Height Gauge, the unique Long Bore Measurement Machine (LBM), our range of Truth and Millennium CMM's and a range DeMeet optical and touch-probe small high volume CMM's. Due to our expertise in measurement machine manufacture our CMMs and height gauge do not require error-mapping.We can offer our customers Sub-Contract inspection, on-site CMM service and calibration, a UKAS Certified Calibration laboratory, plus CMM programming where required.With a dedicated team Eley Metrology provide services to industries such as automotive, aerospace, manufacturing and engineering.The Vertex VMS is a unique digital height gauge and some would say the most advanced gauge in the world! Supported by UKAS certification and with a max error over a range of 3.5 microns without error mapping and it's patented system, it's the next generation in height gauges.The patented Long-Bore Measurement Machine (LBM) is the only coordinate measuring machine of it's time; with the ability to resolve to 1 micron and with a volumetric measuring capacity better than 10 microns at the end of a two metre carbon fibre lance.
