President / Attorney at Law at Sparks Family Law, Inc. - Walnut Creek, California, United States
Sparks Family Law, Inc. is a full-service family law, divorce, and estate planning firm dedicated to helping you navigate and resolve family-centered legal issues. Our goal is to empower you with knowledge and provide exceptional legal services to help you understand and assert your rights under California law. The firm was founded by attorney Gary D. Sparks, who dedicated himself many years ago to becoming a family lawyer after undergoing his own highly contested divorce case. We treat all of our clients with care and compassion, and advocate aggressively for their rights. Whether it be the financial issues of child and spousal support, retirement and property division or the parental custody issues of creating a safe and sane environment in which you and your children can thrive, we will guide you through this unsettling time and work towards achieving the solutions that you need and deserve. We focus our practice on family-centered law, including divorce, legal separation, annulment, paternity, termination of domestic partnerships and same sex marriages, military divorce, child custody and visitation, guardianships, child support, spousal support (aka alimony), community property and debt division, retirement plan division, domestic violence, and other post-Judgment issues. We also offer family estate planning services, such as preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance health care directives, and in the near future will begin offering probate services to assist the families of those who have passed away. In addition to litigation, we also provide family law mediation services. We are an experienced, highly competent firm that is supportive of your concerns and will advocate for your rights, all while balancing the rigorous demands of the California legal system. We will advise you of your various options, discuss the pros and cons of each option, and walk you through the range of potential outcomes in your case.
