The Red Table was created by a team of Boomers and Millennials, all of us professors and graduates of the Number One ranking Communication school in the world, USC-Annenberg. It is a dynamic big idea of the New Communication, which in this new generation, is moving to the center of business and society. The Red Table is a 90-minute creative journey, that produces new ideas and and solutions to the intractable issues of a company or a society. With opposing voices on either side of the table, surrounded by an audience, the event first brings these voices together through tension and commonality. In the last thirty minutes the participants and the audience are and then thrown into a facilitated creative space where they collaborate with one another, to create big ideas that change the status quo. The table begins, breaks and ends with performance art.
