Technology Consulting/Tech Services

Founded by Gavin Taljaard in 2018. Gavin has more than 2 decades of experience in the creation and implementation of complex IT solutions across a wide variety of industries. He became involved with the creation of the Data Driven Districts project, commissioned by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF), at its inception in 2013, where he helped guide the solution to ensure it became the most successful data collection and visualisation programme in South Africa. Seeing the massive opportunities for improvement in education in South Africa, and the lack of effective systems to support the education sector, Gavin decided to focus exclusively on supporting initiatives that advance education, and hence Meraki-IT was born.Meraki-IT is committed to working with like-minded people and organisations and providing services and solutions that can move the needle in education in South Africa; make a real difference.
