A brand new theatre, based in Clapham at the Bread & Roses Pub, and also home of the in-house Bread & Roses Theatre Company.Supported by the Bread and Roses Pub in Clapham, a venue that prides itself on supporting emerging artists in all fields, The Bread & Roses Theatre is now officially launching as an up and coming theatre venue in South London.Located in Clapham, within walking distance of several tube and overground stations in Zone 2 (Clapham North, Clapham Common, Clapham High Street and Wandsworth Road), the theatre sits in a brilliant location.The in-house theatre company has been running regular new writing night The Platform since 2012, following which other companies and groups have started putting up scratch performances and showcases.After some major refurbishing work of the space and the investment in lights and stages - all sponsored by the fabulous Bread & Roses Pub - we are now ready to officially launch the theatre, that seats up to 54 people, on the 1st of November 2014!We are also offering an extremely attractive deal to visiting companies and producers, no hire fees, just a straight forward box office split and you can even use the theatre for free on certain week nights!
