Founded in 2012, High Point Rowing Club and Greensboro Crew are shaping the future of rowing in North Carolina. The Clubs row on Oak Hollow Lake in High Point, NC and Lake Brandt in Greensboro, and maintain an additional indoor rowing facility in the Warehouse District of Jamestown and Revolution Mill in Greensboro. In addition to preparing rowers to reach their potential on race day, the clubs jointly host the North Carolina Youth Rowing Championships and the High Point Autumn Rowing Festival. With over 250 members in the peak season, the Club draws membership from people ages 12 - 80 years old from across the Triad. Beginners are always welcome to try out the sport and opportunities are often made available each month. The Club has several programs including a middle school program and high school program for boys and girls, each drawing students from both public and private schools across the Triad. The Club also has the Masters program, which is for adults of all ages.
