Banqer is an online monetary platform for students aged 8 - 12 that enables practical application of core financial capabilities. Banqer allows students to learn about financial literacy responsibility in an engaging and immersive way. Banqer was born out of the alarming rise of financially illiterate children in our society, a statistic that has major fiscal societal ramifications down the track. It's reinforced by and complementary to the recent Ministry of Education curriculum updates, whereby financial capability learning outcomes were added for children of this age group. How much the students learn is limited only on the creativity and drive of the teacher, we offer the platform to make financial literacy learning happen in any shape, size or form. The whole experience is a competitive, exciting way to progressively allow students to explore the monetary system and to manage personal finance in a simulated environment. We're really excited about the future of Banqer and hope you see the value of it in the classroom and from a wider societal perspective.
