rt health is a division of the Hospitals Contribution Fund, catering to the health insurance needs of transport, rail and energy workers. Our single-minded focus is on benefiting our members and we've been looking after workers for more than 130 years. The foundations for rt health began in 1889 when a group of railway workers in Sydney formed a cooperative to help each other with expenses related to illness or injury. Now, we partner with some of the largest transport and energy industry organisations in Australia; more than 30,000 transport and energy workers and their families trust their health cover to us. Corporate clients work with us because they: - Have their own account manager to help create and raise awareness of health plans. - Receive co-branded promotional materials including advertising, flyers, health articles and more. - Have access to a range of online facilities: a personalised webpage and online member centre. - Receive workplace visits, presentations and one-on-one consultations. We also offer: - Industry and workplace specific health resources. - Partnerships with dental providers such as National Dental Care (NDC) and optical providers such as OPSM and Specsavers that offer enormous value to members. With rt health merging with HCF, Australia's largest not-for-profit health fund, we will be offering more member benefits, such as sustained lower premium increases and access to HCF's network of dental and optical providers, plus other health and wellbeing programs. This will begin sometime in early 2022.
