Foogle was designed to help Washington, D.C food trucks find new customers by allowing users to group order by neighborhood. Based on order volume and truck preferences, trucks could incentivize users by offering deep discounts and/or free products. The application was inspired from D.C Council passing legislation to limit food truck's vending areas. Our product aspired to circumvent the law by bringing customers to food trucks. In addition, the product desired to strengthen sales in Fall and Winter seasons; both notoriously slow periods. Unfortunately, the proposed concept failed our MVP value proposition testing. We've continued working with food trucks, however, and pivoted into inventory management.
