Founded by Giacomo Berselli in the 21st century, the Marco Polo Institute of Mediterranean Culture & Tourism is an organization in partnership with Italian state governments, the Italian equivalent of Chambers of Commerce, local restaurants and food production companies, and cooperating with several participating universities certified by the Italian Ministry of Education (equivalent to our State Boards of Regents, authorizing academic programs).The mission of the Marco Polo Institute is to promote Italian cultural education and tourism.
